Customisable age gating allows you to set a minimum signup age for your program. This is only relevant if "Date of birth" is a required field on your application form. For example, if the minimum signup age is 16 and a 15-year-old tries to apply, they will receive an error message.
Considerations for live programs
- Whenever you set new program terms, your existing users will need to agree to the terms before completing any tasks. They will not be able to complete any tasks until they have agreed to the new terms of service.
- If you choose to set a minimum signup age, we recommend that you complete a member export to find out if you have any existing users who do not meet the age requirement. They will not be automatically removed from the program, so it is up to you how you’d like to proceed from a legal standpoint.
