Challenge Rejection Feedback - October 2026

Rejected challenge submissions now come with feedback: a reason, action steps and a note, with one click to resubmit.

Rejecting a challenge submission used to be just a status change. Now it comes with feedback: you pick a reason and can add a note, and the advocate sees exactly what to fix, with one click back to resubmit.

🗓️ On for programmes from 21 October 2026. A ready-made set of rejection reasons is included, so there's nothing to set up first.

📁 What's New

  • A reason with every rejection: when you reject a submission, pick a reason from the dropdown and add a note if you want to.
  • Feedback advocates can act on: the advocate sees the reason, a short explanation, the action steps and your note, with their submission still attached.
  • One click to resubmit: while the challenge is open, the advocate can go straight back, fix their submission and send it again.
  • Reasons in your brand's voice: edit the default reasons or add your own under Settings › Challenges, for all groups or for one group.

🎯 Why it matters

  • Advocates understand straight away why a submission was turned down and how to fix it.
  • Your moderators don't need to write a separate message for each rejection.
  • Fewer confused advocates chasing your team for answers.

⚠️ In the portal only. Feedback appears in the advocate's notifications, on their home page and on the challenge page. There's no email in this release, and bulk or automated rejections don't send feedback.
