Segments

Segments allow you to organise Advocates into precise cohorts for insights, task distribution, promotions, or notifications. They filter programme advocates by combining existing labels.

Combining Labels and Conditions

Overview

Segments are built entirely from labels, so you’ll need to have labels created before you can build one. Each segment groups Advocates based on those labels and updates automatically as label assignments change.

For guidance on creating and managing labels, read our dedicated article on Labels.

Creating a Segment

  1. Go to Members → Segments and select Create Segment.

  2. Enter a Name and Description to identify the segment and clarify its purpose.

  3. Choose how the global conditions are applied using the ALL/ANY selector:

    • ALL: Advocates must meet every condition.

    • ANY: Advocates must meet at least one condition.

  4. Add one or more Conditions:

    • Use the Label dropdown to select relevant labels (e.g. Competition Winners Q1 2025, Top Revenue Drivers 90 Days).

    • Click + Add Label to include additional labels within the same condition.

    • Click + Add Condition to create separate conditions.

    • Conditions are combined based on the global ALL/ANY rule.

  5. Select Create Segment to save your configuration.

Combining Labels and Conditions

Labels are tags assigned to Advocates (e.g. location, interest, or performance tier). They can be static or dynamic.

Conditions are collections of one or more labels. For example:

  • Condition 1: IG Reel Content Creators

  • Condition 2: Under 18 YES

The Global Rule determines inclusion logic:

  • ALL means Advocates must meet every condition.

  • ANY means they must meet at least one.

This setup enables flexible segment logic, such as Advocates who are either top revenue drivers or competition winners.

Future Features

Segments will continue to be worked on, currently can't be targeted to tasks but this will be rolled out in the new year.
