Easily access and download UGC videos directly from your dashboard or API - now available in trial!
We are really excited to announce the launch of video UGC in its initial trial phase. We’ve been squirrelling away on this for the last few months and whilst we still have a bit to go, we wanted to give you access as early as we possibly could.
What does this mean for you?
Until now, when creators submitted social post tasks, we’ve only been able to provide static image content. Now, we’re capturing and storing video UGC, allowing you to download it directly from Duel. No more chasing creators for files or resorting to sketchy Instagram downloader tools - we’ve got you covered.
What do I need to know?
We’re rolling out video UGC early so you can start benefiting from it now, rather than waiting until everything is perfected. However, we’re still refining our video scraping capabilities, which means:
📢 Important: Currently not every video will be available for download.
Instagram for example has a more robust reliability for obtaining content but TikTok may experience some missing videos. Don’t worry, we’re working on it!
We’re actively working to improve video availability and will continue enhancing our coverage. If you notice missing videos, rest assured that we are optimising the system to increase the number of videos successfully retrieved.
What do you mean by “trial phase”?
As with most of our releases, we release, we watch, we measure and we learn so with video we are opening it up with unlimited access for the first 60 days. You can access everything via downloading in the content tab by using our API to pull videos without lifting a finger.

What happens after 60 days?
- Video UGC will remain downloadable for brands on the Believer and Visionary pricing packages.
- If you’re unsure about your package or eligibility for continued access, please contact your Brand Success Manager.
How do I access and download videos?
📌 Via the Duel Dashboard
Open the content you want to download. If the video is available, you’ll see a new Download button.

📌 Via the API
If you’re pulling content via our API, videos will now be available through the Assets endpoint. Instead of just a thumbnail image, the video URL and file type will be included.
