Getting Started with Your Duel Dashboard

This guide walks you through your first steps with Duel: setting up your account, logging into the dashboard, and securing it with app-based two-factor authentication (2FA).

Step 1: Activate Your Account
  • You’ll receive an email from your Duel contact with a link to set your password.
  • Follow the link to create your account.
  • If you missed the email or want to add a teammate:
  • Contact the Duel team and we’ll resend or issue a new invite.
Step 2: Access the Dashboard
  • Go to app.duel.me.
  • Bookmark this page for quick access.
  • Enter your email and password.
  • Check your inbox for a 2-factor authentication code and enter it when prompted.

⚠️ If your brand uses single sign-on (SSO), your login process may differ. Your Duel contact will provide the necessary details.

Step 3: Set Up App-Based Authentication (Recommended)
By default, Duel uses email-based authentication. For faster and more secure access, switch to an authentication app.

You can use any authenticator app you prefer, if you already have one, it will work seamlessly. See some examples:
  • Google Authenticator (iOS & Android)
  • Bitwarden Authenticator (iOS & Android)
  • Microsoft Authenticator (iOS & Android)
How to set it up:
  1. In the dashboard, click Settings (top right).
  2. Select Account → Multi-factor Authentication.
  3. Switch from Email to Authenticator App.
  4. Scan the QR code with your chosen authenticator app.
  5. Enter the code shown in your app into Duel to confirm setup.
Once complete, your login will default to app-based authentication, keeping your account both secure and easy to access.
