Overview 

The Invitations feature allows you to reward existing Advocates for inviting new Advocates to join your programme. You can configure rewards to be given once an Advocate reaches a specific number of successful invitations. Rewards can take the form of points, promo codes (e.g. vouchers or discounts), or a combination of both.

Once set up, this feature provides each Advocate with a unique invitation link they can share with their audience. This link directs people to your application form. If an application is successful, the Advocate will receive the specified reward

Please keep in mind that only one active rule per audience is allowed. Therefore, when setting up rewards for points & promo codes, make sure to use the 'points & promotion' and set them as a single rule.

Setup Steps

Enabling the Rules

  • Navigate to the Members > Invitations
  • Enable the Invitations feature.
  • Set up the reward rules by selecting the type of reward:
    • Points
    • Promotion (promo code)
    • Points & Promotion
  • Then set the desired audience (group and tier)
  • When setting up rewards for points, you can specify the amount of points that advocates will receive, the number of signups they need to achieve, and if necessary, the maximum number of invitations they can be rewarded for.
  • For promo codes, generate a batch of promo codes and upload them by clicking on "Add Promotion". Then, specify the number of invitations needed and the maximum number of invitations they can be rewarded for.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

Setting up link visibility for Advocates 

  1. Navigate to the Members > Group Profiles > Select appropriate group > Overview page
  2. Enable the Invitations Channel.
  3. Add a title (e.g., "Invite your friends" or "Invite a new member") and provide a clear explanation in the body of the text on how invitations work and the rewards involved.

By following these steps, you can easily set up invitations and enable ambassador accounts to start inviting new members and earning rewards.

Performance

You can view each Advocate’s live invitation link from their profile via the Members tab:

  1. Go to Members > All.

  2. Search for the Advocate in question.

  3. If they belong to a Tier with invitations enabled, scroll to the Invitations section on their profile.

Here, you’ll be able to see:

  • Link – the Advocate’s unique invitation link.

  • Click-throughs – the number of people who have clicked the link.

  • Signups – the number of applications currently pending.

  • Accepted – the number of applicants who have been approved and onboarded as Advocates.
