Performance Points for Engagement

How Performance Points Are Awarded for Social Posts

Performance Points are a new feature that rewards Advocates with additional points based on how well their content performs after posting.

Available on Social Post Action steps submitted through Duel, this feature incentivises high-performing content by awarding additional points for views and engagements—driving greater reach and value for your brand.

What are Social Post Action Steps?

Social Post Action Steps are Duel’s built-in social post task types, such as Instagram Grid, Reels, TikTok posts, and Facebook posts. See the complete list of supported action steps under Social Posts here.

How Are Points Calculated?

  • Base Points:
    • Variable points awarded for completing and submitting a post.
  • Performance-Based Points:
    • 📹 +1 point for every 100 views on a video post.
    • 🖼️ +1 point for every 10 engagements (likes, comments, shares) on a static image post.

When Are Points Awarded?

7 Days After Completion - Points are awarded 7 days after the Advocate completes the action. This delay allows time for early engagement (e.g., likes, views, shares) to accumulate on the post for accurate rewarding.
