Challenge Moderation

By default, challenges require manual moderation before any rewards are issued to advocates. This moderation process can be accessed through the Activity Tab.

To begin, navigate to Activity > Pending.

In this section, you will find two or three moderation options available for challenges:

✅ Approve challenge

❌ Reject challenge

⚫ Approve and hide challenge

In cases where the challenge's Action step requires an asset (such as an Image Upload or a Social Post), the moderator has the additional option to approve the submission and issue the reward while also choosing to hide the user-generated content (UGC) from the assets tab.

Fixing Products in UGC

If enabled, Advocates can tag products in the content they submit via challenges. When reviewing submissions, moderators can update or add additional tags if anything’s missing or incorrect - just open the challenge preview and update the ‘Products’ section.

Auto Moderation

Action steps can be configured for "Auto Moderation."

This feature allows submitted challenges to be automatically marked as completed and rewards to be issued without requiring human oversight.

Implementing auto moderation can significantly reduce processing time and enhance the efficiency of your workflow at a risk of abuse by the advocates.

How to set up an auto moderation challenge

To set up auto moderation, navigate to the three-dot menu on the desired challenge action step and select the appropriate option. Be sure to save your changes to apply the settings.
